Black-gloss kylix from the Necropolis of Poggio Pinci, Asciano, Tuscany, Italy
Black-gloss kylix. Light brown clay and black paint. On interior it is decorated with four palmettes. Form created in the workshop of Volterra at the beginning of the 3rd c. BCE. Documented in the internal and coastal northern Etruria until the first half of the 2nd c. BCE. Tomb III.204, Necropolis of Poggio Pinci, Asciano. Mangani 1983, n. cat. III, 18. Displayed at the Civic Museum of Archaeology and Sacred Art at Palazzo Corboli, Asciano.
