More model informationThe Bernadotte Gallery is a long narrow room in the middle of the Bernadotte Apratments. It originally served as Adolf Fredrik’s and Lovisa Ulrika’s common reception room. From this time, the ceiling painting as well as the lots around windows and doors are preserved. In the 18th century, Gustav III redefined the room to house the King’s art collection, which is now on display at the National Museum. In Oscar II’s and Queen Sofia’s time, the room was divided into three lounges, furnished in the same way as the adjacent Oscar II’s writing room.
