More model informationOnly the base of the statue is preserved. The feet and a fragment of the club next to the right foot are visible. The base has the shape of a parallelepiped altar. On the front side there is a relief depicting Hercules in two hypostases (young and mature) carrying out the first and last of the labours. The piece was discovered in the year 1968, near the village of Nisipari (commune of Castelu). Dated from the 3rd century A.D. MATERIAL AND SIZE: Limestone; h 0.28 m, width 0.32 m; thickness 0.24 m.
