Balbaleiit Mausoleum // Мавзолей Балабейит3D Model
Geographic coordinates: N 50 ° 36′ 17.86″ E 70 ° 10′ 17.67″ h 305.3 m. Balabeyit (Bespakyr) mausoleum is an architectural monument of the 19th century. It is located in the aul Abay of Korgalzhyn district, Akmola region, in the Open steppe area, on the fenced territory of the old cemetery, on the on the right bank of the river Nura. Characterized by a peculiar type of mausoleum, designed in the form of a sagan with a domed entrance part. The two-chambered composition in the transverse axis stretches in the direction from East to West. The proportions of the small volume are emphasized by the smooth shapes of the facade walls. The low arched entrance on the east side leads to an oval chamber about 2.8 meters in diameter which is covered by a dome made of brick. Along the axis of the entrance a low arched opening to the main circular chamber in the form of a sagana 6.5 m high, walls 3 m high. The mausoleum is dedicated to Gabiden Mustopoulou of the Temes family, who was buried here in 1936.
