More model informationBaekseok Waterfall is an artificial waterfall that descends from the top of Baekseokbong Peak, 1,170 meters above sea level, spanning Bukpyeong-myeon, Jeongseon-gun and Jinbu-myeon, Pyeongchang-gun. A pipe about 600 meters long was buried to draw water from the surrounding valley and fall into Odaecheon. The height of the waterfall is 116 meters. Since the waterfall was created by turning the stream of the valley rather than forcing the water up with a pump, it has a more natural appearance and has a stream of water flowing all year round. The sight of a waterfall falling from a height of over 100 meters is enough to overwhelm the surrounding scenery.
