More model informationTest of a workflow to create an animated photo cutout.
Image was cut out in Adobe Photoshop and given a white background, which was used to create a square image to be later used as a texture. An outline of the cutout was created using Image Trace in Adobe Photoshop, which was exported as an SVG file. This was imported into Blender, extruded, then turned into a mesh. The scene was oriented to top view. In edit mode all vertices were selected, then the model was unwrapped using the ‘project from view’ option. The cutout image was then imported, and the UVs were moved / scaled accordingly. Finally, keyframes were added to created the rotation animation.
