One handled pitcher from grave 46 Mokrin necropolis
The shape of the pit could not be ascertained because the grave was shallowly dug and partly destroyed. The skeleton belonged to a child and was very poorly preserved.
This pitcher was found under the forearm, nearer to the head. It is a biconical vessel with one handle, a flat bottom and moulded transition from the short shoulder to the inverted neck. The rim gently flares and the mouth is rounded. On the shoulder there are three small applied ornaments, shaped vertically and with an oblong cross-section. The shoulder is spearated from the neck by two parallel lines horizontally incised. The surface of the vessel is divided into four fields by triple lines vertically incised. Height = 11cm, diameter of the bottom = 4.6cm, diameter of the mouth = 12.5cm.
