この庭園は、能仁寺本堂北庭として「池泉鑑賞蓬莱庭園」である。天覧山の南急斜面を巧みに取り入れ、背後に枯滝を組み、下部を池泉とした上下二段式庭園の典型である。築山、亀山、鶴島、石橋、洞窟などを備え、幾多の傑出した手法や造形を見せていることで、桃山時代(1573-1603年)の作庭と推定され、日本名園百選に入っており、東日本の代表的な名園と言われている(能仁寺パンフレットに加筆)。このモデルは、本堂から手持ちで撮影した36枚の写真から合成した(Nikon Z6 50mm, f/10)。
This is the north garden of the main hall of Noninji Temple, and is called the “Pond Spring Viewing Horai Garden.” It is a typical two-tiered garden, skillfully incorporating the steep southern slope of Mt. Tenran, with a dry waterfall in the back and a pond at the bottom. It is thought to have been created in the Momoyama period (1573-1603) and is one of Japan’s top 100 gardens, as it features many outstanding techniques and forms, including an artificial mountain, a turtle mountain, a crane island, a stone bridge, and a cave., is said to be one of the most famous gardens in eastern Japan (added to Nonin-ji pamphlet). This model was processed by photogrammetry approach from 36 photos taken handheld from the main hall (Nikon Z6, 50mm, f/10).
