More model informationThe 2x2x2x2 is a puzzle invented by Melinda Green, who tried to make a four-dimensional puzzle, it consists of 16 separate small cube with four colors each that can be connected with magnets inside. Unlike any twisty puzzle, the 2x2x2x2 does not constrained by mechanism, instead, the player constrain themselves by the rules of the puzzle. Although the puzzle can be moved freely, the player also can play this puzzle like a 2x2x4 or a regular 2x2 by removing the half of the puzzle, the magnets also have orientations, so the cubes only can be connected in certain positions.
