A very large stone fish trap is located on the beach at the western end of Poppit Sands in Pembrokeshire, NPRN 24568 https://coflein.gov.uk/en/site/24568/. This section was recorded on the 11 March 2024 during a very low tide.
The fish trap is V-shaped with its apex (point) to the west, and two long arms; one to the south and one to the north, both over 200m in length. The age of the fish trap is unknown, but the fact that at least half of it is always submerged may suggest it is medieval, or older.
