This is rock art panel 9 at the Palatki Heritage Site NW of Sedona Arizona in the Red Rock District of the Coconino National Forest. This is an at risk area of the site with minor spalling of rock fragments and possibly fading pre-historic pictographs and petroglyphs. On this panel there are abundant Sinagua, Archaic and Yavapai pictographs and Sinagua and Archaic petroglyphs. The modern initials in the upper right hand corner are attributed to early settlers in the Sedona area and are verified as over 100 years old. They are known as “historic graffiti”
